Written By Randy Adler Jr. Photography Courtesy of Blow-By Racing and Kevin DiOssi NMRA JDM Engineering Limited Street saw a new combination take the stage this year. Blow-By Racing debuted its Demon Killer Turbo Kit on Jason Davis 2015 Mustang. Davis came out swinging with the new combination, appearing in two final rounds in the first three races. The Demon Killer Turbo Kit is designed for Mustangs between the years of 2015 and 2020. The kit includes a Precision LS-Series PT7675 Turbocharger, a TiAL Q 50MM blow off valve, and two 40MM Precision wastegates. In terms of keeping the system cool, a four-inch-core intercooler with a three-inch inlet and outlet is included, along with a turbo blanket and reflective heat tape. Blow-By Racing also supplies every oil feed line, drain line, AN fitting, and flange to assemble the kit on your Mustang. The best part about the kit is that there is no cutting of the body of the car involved! If you're wondering about installation, Blow-By Racing has it covered with a full and easy installation instruction sheet. Blow-By Racing customer and NMRA racer Jason Davis described the Demon Killer kit as, A kit that can provide the power anyone could want with ease of installation and reliability. After everything above in the normal kit, there are still options for add-ons. With a fender exit being developed, BBR offers a range of different tuning add-ons such as 1000cc, 1200cc, 1500cc, and 2200cc injectors along with a custom tune and data logging sensors. If that's not enough, BBR also offers a dual-inlet catch can with all the fittings and lines to put it together. With regard to the turbocharger, BBR offers upgrades such as a Gen 1 Billet Wheel Journal Bearing, Gen 1 Billet Wheel and Ball Bearing, and a Gen 2 Billet Wheel and Ball Bearing. After early season testing at Palm Beach, Davis said, We had good success. The car just worked. Of course, we were just trying to go A to B with a decent tune in it, and boy were we surprised! At the NMRA Spring Break Shootout at Bradenton Motorsports Park earlier this year, Jason Davis and Chris Jones managed to capture low et of the event with his turbo kit, putting a stout 8.44 at 161 mph on the board in JDM Engineering Limited Street. Jason would go on to runner up in the event and put the whole Limited Street Class on notice. Just a couple of months later at the Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals, he managed to make yet another final round. It's not just the product that has proven itself, but according to Davis, the customer service is exceptional. Chris Jones provided me with unlimited support from when we just ran for fun with the 6R80, to full-on, heads-up competition. I highly recommend the Demon Killer Single Turbo Kit from BBR, Jason Davis said. With two events left to run, Jason Davis and Chris Jones are ready to show how quick the Demon Killer is.
