Partnership Between Red Line Oil and NMCA Proves to be Greater than the Sum of their Parts

To suggest that the relationship between Red Line Synthetic Oil and the NMRA Drag Racing Series is far greater than a typical sponsorship would be a huge understatement. Red Line is a valued partner in the series, providing the necessary oils, lubricants, and other products that allow racers to reach their full potential.

The roots of Red Line Synthetic Oil extend more than four decades, to 1979 when the company first began to develop and test lubricants for the racing industry. Since Red Line’s launch in 1979, the company has experienced tremendous growth and now manufactures more than 100 quality products, including motor oils, gear oils, assembly lubes, fuel additives and its popular WaterWetter, an effective and innovative cooling additive for the automotive, motorcycle, marine and industrial markets.

Using cutting edge technology, Red Line responds to the technical challenges of today’s performance industry. The company employs enthusiasts who stay on top of each market niche, ensuring product recommendations that result in serious performance gains. Red Line uses the knowledge gained through involvement in racing, including the NMCA and NMRA series, to create high-performance products for both track cars and street vehicles. When it comes to performance and reliability, the company does not compromise.

Currently, the NMCA series features 13 different classes for competitors offering something for just about everyone. The wide array of vehicles at an NMCA event includes Pro Mods, vintage 1960s and 1970s muscle cars, the latest high-tech offerings from OEM manufacturers and just about everything in between. One thing that nearly every racer has in common is the need for quality oils, lubricants, and other products, and that is where Red Line fits the bill quite nicely.

“Red Line Oil has a rich history in motorsports and bringing them into the NMCA as the series sponsor is a great fit from hardcore Pro Mod racers to street performance enthusiasts as well as fans across the country,” said Steve Wolcott, CEO and founder of ProMedia Events when the partnership was first announced prior to the start of the 2022 season, and those words ring true more than ever today.

Mark Beatty, Brand Director of Red Line Oil, also shared his thoughts on the title sponsorship with the NMCA with words that remain relevant, “I love the saying; ‘Real Knows Real’, and in the performance world nothing could be more accurate. This partnership between NMCA and Red Line Lubricants falls right in line with that saying. We sell lubricants and products that are designed to protect what racers build and dream up, the NMCA offers racers the series where they can race against the best in the world. We both do what we do, for the racers.”

Given its vast product line and longstanding reputation for quality products, it’s no surprise that Red Line’s involvement in motorsports extends far beyond their association with NMCA. Red Line is also partnered with Honda Performance Development, the Skip Barber Racing School, Arrington Performance, the NASCAR Racing Experience, and a host of other racing teams across a wide variety of platforms.
