Gulfcoast Driveshaft recently released a new 3.5-inch-diameter, aluminum driveshaft for 2018-newer Ford Mustangs with the 5.0-liter V-8 and A10 automatic transmissions.
Each of these 1350-series driveshafts are built using 3.5-inch x .125-inch-wall Kaiser KDS4-T8 aluminum tubing, aluminum yoke shaft, and spline sleeve assembly, weld yoke, and flange yokes—all components from Sonnax. Upgraded 1350-series, non-greaseable performance u-joints from NEAPCO are employed and the driveshafts are high-speed balanced. Gulfcoast’s new Mustang driveshaft does not require additional adapters and utilizes factory mounting hardware for a direct bolt-in fitment.
