Big Three Add $1,000 Bonus to the NMCA Holley EFI Factory Super Car Purse for 2019

The biggest racing news out of Detroit are the red-hot factory drag car programs offered by Chevrolet Performance, Dodge // Mopar, and Ford Performance, proving grassroots drag racing is a key market for their involvement. Those three companies are proud to announce a $1,000 bonus program if their brand wins that will be thrown on top of the NMCA winner's purse through the 2019 season. Nearly four years ago the NMCA officials recognized and embraced these modern factory racecars and organized them into a heads-up eliminator. The Holley EFI Factory Super Car category has become one of the cornerstones in NMCA's powerhouse line-up of racing and entertainment. Holley EFI added its 7-Second Club challenge last year with Geoff Turk collecting a $10,000 bonus for his First in the 7s performance. The excitement of the supercharged 1,500+ hp modern muscle cars has captured a new generation of fans and dazzles the veteran crowd. The Holley EFI Factory Super Cars is going to be one hell of a championship battle at NMCA events in 2019. The new combinations from Chevrolet Performance and Ford Performance have already shown 7-second potential in pre-season testing and we know the Dodge cars can run just as quick. To have all three manufacturers step up with the bonus purse shows how much they care about grassroots factory racing, said Rollie Miller, General Manager and Event Director for the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals series. Over twenty Holley EFI Factory Super Cars are pre-entered in the NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem this weekend at Bradenton Motorsports Park and four spots remain in the Holley EFI 7-Second Club with thousands of dollars up for grabs.
