SDPC Raceshop and the National Muscle Car Association are pleased to announce that the Factory Appearing Stock Tire (F.A.S.T.) racing series has added the NMCA World Street Finals at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis the weekend of Sept. 21-24, 2017, to their series schedule. Jump in a time machine and go back to the glory days of muscle car racing as perfectly restored F.A.S.T. muscle cars compete in the quarter mile on stock tires. Muscle cars were meant to be driven and these museum-quality rides will burn rubber and showcase the Motor City's past. No matter how you look at them, F.A.S.T. cars appear showroom stock, including the body, interior, engine and all its external components and manifolds, even the wheels and original 1960's style skinny bias ply tires. F.A.S.T cars place very well at shows for restored cars. But get a group of them on the drag strip, and look out! Witness F.A.S.T. cars covering the 1/4 mile in 13, 12, 11, 10 and some even in the 9 second range, with the fastest cars posting trap speeds well over 130 MPH!
