NMCA Street Warrior 10.10 To Feature All Domestic Brands in 2024

Beginning with its first event of the 2024 season, NMCA will offer a new class for low-10-second street/strip machines to battle on the quarter-mile — Scoggin Dickey Parts Center Street Warrior 10.10 presented by Chevrolet Performance.

This class will be open to any Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge and other domestic cars and trucks. Crossbreeding of powertrains is allowed, which will open the doors to seeing some popular combinations.

“We’ve seen huge growth among our street-car classes in both the NMCA and NMRA series,” said Rollie Miller, General Manager & National Event Director of NMCA. “Street Warrior 10.10 will open the door for quick street cars to compete on the national stage and earn payout and pro level contingency money while competing for a championship. And allowing a wide range of vehicles and engine/transmission combinations will raise the excitement level and allow many competitors to jump into a fun and fast NMCA category.”

Debuting at Rockingham Dragway on April 11-14, 2024 as part of the NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals, Scoggin Dickey Parts Center Street Warrior 10.10 presented by Chevrolet Performance will showcase street-legal (including current registration and valid insurance) rides capable of running single-digit elapsed time but competing with a single index. Run with a heads-up start on a .400 Pro Tree and running the full quarter mile, Street Warrior 10.10 competitors will be randomly paired via chip draw during eliminations.

Scoggin Dickey Parts Center Street Warrior 10.10 presented by Chevrolet Performance is a season points championship class set to run during every Red Line Oil NMCA Muscle Car Nationals event. Winners of the class will take home $1,000, runners-up will score $400, semifinalists will earn $125, and quarterfinalists will drive away with $50. There is also pro level NMCA contingency available, which pays $350 to the winner and $175 to the runner-up per qualified product. Stay tuned for possible Chevrolet Performance crate engine bounties for purchases made through Scoggin Dickey Parts Center.
