Innovation Performance Technologies Jr. Street Gets Teen Racing At The NMCA Finals

 

Teenagers can get in on the racing fun alongside the adults as the Red Line Oil NMCA Muscle Car Nationals series wraps up its 2023 season by competing in Innovation Performance Technologies Jr. Street at the NMCA World Street Finals presented by Chevrolet Performance held from September 21-24, 2023 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park in Indianapolis, Indiana.

 

Teens age 13 through 16 years old can move beyond Jr. Dragsters and race full-size vehicles at a national event in Innovation Performance Technologies Jr. Street. Under the watch of an approved and licensed adult teammate, the young racers can run registered, insured, and street-legal vehicles running no quicker than 9-second elapsed times in the eighth mile with mufflers and DOT street tires in place. The NHRA-designed class will run using a .500 full tree.

 

Not only will the Jr. Street make the final race of the NMCA season fun for the whole family, but the winning teen driver will score a $300 prize and one of NMCA’s coveted awards, while the runner-up racer will earn a $150 prize.
