Posted By: Event Coverage Team
As the COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc on the country, we wanted to remind everyone that the next event for the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals is the Scoggin Dicky Parts Center NMRA/NMCA Power Festival presented by HPJ Performance. It happens May 28-31 at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway in Madison, IL which is right across the Mississippi River from St. Louis. In addition to the inclusion of the Holley NMRA Ford Nationals, there is the special Mickey Thompson Radial Rampge on Friday/Saturday nights with Radial vs. The World, Limited Drag Radial, VP Racing Fuels/Mickey Thompson Street Outlaw, and Edelbrock Renegade/Xtreme Street. In addition to those classes the famous Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout is also going down with huge prizes for those categories, including the Chevrolet Performance Street Car Challenge. In addition, this is the first event for the Nitto Tire Bonus Program for Dodge // Mopar HEMI Shootout, Street Car Challenge, and QA1/TorqStorm True Street. The NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals that is held at Atlanta Dragway (Commerce, GA) has been scheduled for June 25-28, 2020 and it features both the Holley NMRA Ford Nationals and NMCA Muscle Car Nationals. This event also includes the action-packed VP Racing Fuels/Mickey Thompson Street Outlaw that is open to all X275 racecars. Also combined is the Edelbrock Renegade and Edelbrock Xtreme Street categories for a wild 275 shootout.
