2023 NMCA Championship Categories & Specialty Classes

As we wind down the 2022 season and celebrate the season champions and Top 10 finishers, the NMCA National Muscle Car Nationals series is gearing up for 2023. Listed below are the Championship Categories that will be contested in 2023 at all six NMCA national events. NMCA Also offers muscle car fans a place to display your car in the show area and many more activities for great family fun at every event.

All competitors are invited to share additional Preliminary Rule requests with the Tech department through October 23, 2022 via email at [email protected]
 
The Specialty Classes for the 2023 season currently include:

·      True Street – will run at all six NMRA national events.
·      Dodge//Mopar Hemi Shootout and HEMI Quick 8 will be at all six national events. 
·      Cobra Jet Showdown – Will run at the Norwalk, OH event. 
·      COPO Battle – will run at the Norwalk, OH event. 
·      Sealed Stock All-Star Shootout (Coyote Stock vs Chevrolet Performance Stock) will be at the St. Louis, IL event. 
·      LSX Shootout and Real Street Shootout will be contested at the St Louis, IL event. 
·      NMCA vs. Buckeye Stock /Super Stock All-Stars Shootout will be run at the Norwalk, OH event. 
·      Dave Duell Classic and NSS All-Star Shootout will once again be at the NMCA World Finals in Indianapolis. 
·      Bracket Open - will be run in Bradenton, FL; Rockingham, NC; St. Louis, IL; US 131 Martin, MI; Norwalk, OH and Indianapolis, IN events. 
·      FAST and FAST Factory Stock will be run in Martin, MI; Norwalk, OH and Indianapolis events.

NMCA kicks off the year once again at fabled Orlando Speed World March 16-19. The tour then moves north to Rockingham Dragway for the massive NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals April 13-16.
There’s big action in May at the Gateway to the West, when the NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street-Legal Drag Racing takes place at World Wide Technology Raceway May 4-7. Following a brief mid-season break is the NMRA/NMCA Power Festival at US 131 Motorsports Park, which has become a regular tour stop after last year’s wildly successful event, goes down July 20-23.
 
Summit Motorsports Park will host the prestigious NMCA All-American Nationals August 24-27. And the season concludes at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park just outside of Indianapolis with the NMCA World Street Finals September 21-24.
