NMCA All-American Nationals Thursday Test & Tune Announced (August 24)

Posted By: Event Coverage Team
For the first time the NMCA will offer a full Thursday Test & Tune (August 24) open to All-American Nationals competitors. One of the largest street car drag racing events of the year, the 16th Annual Honeywell Garrett NMCA All-American Nationals takes place at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH, the weekend of August 24-27, 2017. This is one of only three events that also features the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series and the best in LSX drag racing. The addition of the full Thursday Test & Tune is a direct result of Summit Motorsports Park and NMCA listening to our racers and reacting to their needs, said Rollie Miller, National Event Director of NMCA. Improving the racer experience is the essence of our ProPledge customer service commitment. Previously we had been unable to accommodate a full Friday Test & Tune and we are now able to offer it as a Thursday option. Heads-up and index racers can expect track prep from TJ Bailey, the official starter of NMCA, and Kurt Johnson of Total Venue Concepts. Test & Tune entries can be purchased at the NMCA registration trailer at the event. Test and Tune cost for heads-up cars (PM, RW, SO, XS, NPS, NA10.5, DR, RS) is $100.00 Test and Tune cost for index cars (CPS, FSC, OC, NSS, NMC, S/SS, RUM, SK, TS, FAST) is $40.00 Time permitting, the goal is to get everyone that enters the test and tune two runs, perhaps as many as three depending on car count and available time.
