Chevrolet Performance's new ZZ6 crate engine offers builders a modern twist on the classic Chevy small block 350. Developed with contemporary technologies, including a high RPM valve train and high-flow Fast Burn aluminum cylinder heads with LS-inspired beehive-style valve springs, the new ZZ6 motor features improved high RPM capabilities and cranks out an impressive 405 horsepower and 405 lbs/ft of torque. An aggressive, hydraulic roller camshaft is also used on the new ZZ6 motor to support the engine's high RPM airflow while maintaining excellent low-speed drivability. A forged steel crankshaft and durable, high-silicon aluminum pistons are housed inside the ZZ6's four-bolt-main cast iron block.
