The NMCA Red Line Synthetic Oil series tour made its annual stop at World Wide Technology Raceway for the NMRA/NMCA Race for the Rings, one of three combined NMRA/NMCA events with many special features for racers and fans.
The highlight for racers was the “Race for the Rings” where competitors battled for unique Nitto Diamond Tree rings. The points leader in each category went head-to-head with the event’s top qualifier for this special prize. Additionally, fans were thrilled with 200-plus mph Pro Mods and racing in a variety of categories, plus BIGFOOT, insane MotoX jumps, Jet Cars, giant car show and more.
NMCA events offer a wide range of exciting and challenging drag racing classes, from Circle D Specialties True Street to fire-breathing Pro Mods. There are literally all levels of racing for the novice up to the seasoned pro. NMCA incorporates classic and modern muscle cars and allows fans to get up close to the action.
"World Wide Technology Raceway and the St. Louis stop is always a winner for NMCA drivers and teams. We had amazing racing in a variety of categories and there was plenty to do and see for fans," said Rollie Miller, NMCA General Manager and National Event Director. "The highlight in St. Louis was definitely the Race for the Rings, and we had many tight races to decide who would take home the Nitto rings," he added.
Here’s a look at some of the incredible cars and trucks in action. NMCA fans and racers won’t want to miss the upcoming Scoggin Dickey Parts Center NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem presented by Scott’s Trailer Sales In Bowling Green, Ky. May 30-June 2.
