Holley LS Fest Texas Goes Full Send

Holley went full send at LS Fest Texas, with two full days and nights of GM-powered mayhem. LS Fest Texas took on a life of its own, as all types of LS and modern LT-powered vehicles went all out in a variety of driving and show competitions.

LS Fest events offer everything for the true LS enthusiasts, whether you like to participate, spectate, or just scout out the massive amount of manufacturers, services and parts for your build. On track driving was contested in drifting, burnout contest, autocross and drag racing. And there’s a Grand Champion class for those who like to do it all.

Like everything in Texas, LS Fest was BIG and Texas Motor Speedway provided the perfect facility as everything happens inside the Oval. And with activities that run deep into the night, the atmosphere was high-energy. There was burning rubber and smoke as far as the eye could see, whether on the pit-road drag strip, where no-prep action was underway, the drift racing or the awesome burnout contest. Another thing we loved was all the engine-swapped vehicles, which included some crazy, odd-ball cars and trucks.

If an LS based (or current generation LT V8) engine is powering your ride or if you are considering a swap to LS power, LS Fest is for you! It is a home for everyone from novice drivers to serious racers, and we spotted street rods, muscle cars, tons of trucks, late model machines and more. If it was LS/LT-swapped or powered from the factory, it was in the house in Texas! And if you missed it, you’ll have one more chance, as LS Fest East will close out the season September 8-10 at Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
