As one of the leading HEMI speed shops and car builders in the country, HHP Racing is title sponsor of the HEMI Hospitality Tent that will be open to all Dodge / Mopar HEMI Shootout competitors at every NMCA race in 2018. In addition to the HEMI Hospitality Tent, HHP Racing will also be rewarding a $250 gift certificate to the HEMI Shootout participant's three run average that comes closest to their ET performance bracket. For example, a 10.003 average would win the HHP Racing gift certificate over a 12.004 average. The Dodge / Mopar HEMI Shootout is open to all 2005 & later Gen III HEMI-powered Challenger, Demon, Hellcat, Charger, 300, or Jeep and the entry fee is FREE, courtesy of Dodge / Mopar. It's open to the first 75 vehicle owners to register and good for one (1) complimentary car & driver race credential valued up to $175. Contestants get several test and tune passes before Saturday's competition. The shootout concept is simple, contestants make three runs on Saturday and NMCA officials create an average ET, ranking all entries. Awards and prizes are given to the Overall Winner, Overall Runner-Up, and the quickest average for the 9-second, 10-second, 11-second, 12-second, 13-second, 14-second, and 15-second time brackets.
