Flex-A-Lite Introduces New Compact Adjustable Electric Fan Controllers

Posted By: Mike Galimi
Flex-A-Lite's new Compact Adjustable Electric Fan Controller with Relay Kit provides more customer benefits and higher quality than competitively-priced alternatives. Adjusting the fan activation temperature between approximately 160- and 220-degrees Fahrenheit is simple with a small, flat-blade screwdriver. The Compact Adjustable Electric Fan Controller includes optional connections to activate the electric fan whenever the air conditioning is on and also for a manual override switch. Higher quality is evident in all 12-gauge wires used to power the fan motor and connect to the battery power source. All wire used in these kits is rated 105C to withstand 221 F. This is more durable and safer to use in hot, underhood conditions. Part number 33095 includes a threaded temperature sensor with two adapter bushings to fit -, 3/8- and -inch NPT threaded ports. Use this kit when there is a threaded port available in the cooling system such as the thermostat housing, intake manifold or cylinder head. Part number 33094 uses a push-in temperature sensor that installs easily by insertion between the radiator fins and tubes. This is ideal for applications that do not have a threaded port available in the coolant system. The new Compact Adjustable Electric Fan Controller with Relay Kit comes with everything needed for typical installations, making it one of the most complete kits at an affordable price. The control module is potted for water-resistance and protection from vibration. It includes a 30-amp relay and inline fuse. All wires are permanently attached to the control module both for secure connections and to save time during installation. The Flex-A-Lite Compact Adjustable Electric Fan Controller is ideal for use with nearly all single fans, such as the patent-pending Flex-A-Lite Flex-Wave and Trimline electric fans, as well as some dual-electric-fan systems. It's rated for use with fans having a continuous amp draw of up to 20 amps. For more information, visit www.Flex-A-Lite.com or call 800-851-1510. (Content courtesy of Flex-A-Lite)
