Dallas Jones, Owner of Beech Bend Raceway Park Passes Away
With great sadness NMCA learned our good friend, Dallas Jones, 82, of Bowling Green, Ky. has passed away. Dallas was a true giant in the sport of drag racing and a supporter of NMRA and NMCA since the very beginning.
Along with his wife Alfreda, Jones purchased the race track in 1984 and a few years later he purchased the adjoining amusement park. Today, the facility hosts a variety of entertaining events where enthusiasts can enjoy racing, camping and the amusement park.
