BMR Suspension has released a frame rail notch kit for the 1978-1988 G-Body. Users can narrow the rear frame rails to increase tire clearance on their 1978-1988 G-Body with the kit. Stock rails are made from stock stamped steel and merely provide clearance for an everyday street tire. Manufactured from precision laser cut 3/16" premium steel plate, BMR Suspension's kit provides up to an additional 5/8" clearance and can be welded with a standard MIG welder. BMR Suspension designed the kit (FR461) for drag racing and pro touring applications. It's only available bare/unfinished due to required welding.
