From his early days spent in the garage with his father to his own fatherhood spent passing on his love of muscle cars to the next generation, Billy Copeland Jr.'s focus on family is what makes his racing endeavors more meaningful.
Now 54 years old, Copeland's youth was predominantly focused around his father, Billy Copeland Sr.
He was always working and racing and hot rodding. He could fix anything, remembered Copeland of his hero. The younger man grew up learning about tools, helping work on projects with his father, and going to the track. And those experiences all inspired him to take on the drag-racing hobby as his own.
