Artists benefit SEMA Cares to help kids

VMP Performance is excited to announce its first-ever charity automotive art auction. The company has partnered with SEMA Cares to benefit the three charities supported by the committee. SEMA Cares works with The Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, Childhelp and Victory Junction. With great help from Kim Pendergast of Magnuson Superchargers and Maureen Magnuson, VMP has engaged several artists to turn their upcoming 2020+ GT500 Supercharger lids into literal works of art. The lids will be displayed at the SEMA Show in VMP Permformance's booth.

Artists Benjamin McKee of West Design and Manufacturing, Dave Shuten of Galpin Speed Shop and Nicole Intile have put their time, expertise and passion into creating seven pieces of art from VMP's new supercharger lid. These professional artists have experience in machining, fine arts, high-end clothing design, the automotive industry and more! While the exact designs are under wraps until their reveal at the SEMA Show, the artists bring variety that promises that there will be something for everybody.

VMP Apex Predator Supercharger Lid Upgrade for '20+ GT500 is part of its Apex Predator line of upgrades for the 2020+ GT500 and 2023 Raptor. The lids feature improved airflow, especially at high-rpm speeds, thanks to VMP's patent-pending design. Additionally, the lid is compatible with the stock intercooler and VMP's upgraded intercoolers for maximum cooling capabilities. The lid features a boost reference port and 8 1/8th-inch NPT ports suitable for direct-port nitrous or direct-port water-methanol injection. Designed with the Shelby aficionado in mind, the lid fits under the stock strut-tower brace. While the Apex Predator logo is a work of art in its own right, the plaque area is compatible with the stock supercharger plaque. Finally, the lid is available in four color options.

VMP invites all to view the works of art at the SEMA Show in their booth #23361. By purchasing a lid, auction winners not only get a one-of-kind, professional piece of automotive artwork, but also significantly impact funding for these worthy foundations.
