Arrington Performance Brings Speed to the Dodge//Mopar HEMI Shootout

Posted By: Event Coverage Team
For the second year in a row Arrington Performance has brought speed and power to the Dodge//Mopar HEMI Shootout through major sponsorship. By now everyone is aware of the wildly popular heads-up competition on Sunday, which is dubbed the Arrington Performance Quick 8 Presented by Red Line Oil. It brings the quickest 8 cars together from Saturday's final results to see who is the King of the Hill. Arrington Performance's support doesn't stopped there. The company's crate engines are also marked as the Official Engine of the Dodge//Mopar HEMI Shootout for 2020. Arrington Performance has been a leader in Gen III HEMI stroker engines since the engine platform burst on to the scene many years ago. The stroker engines come with 4340 forged crankshafts and connecting rods along with custom piston designs for engine durability and performance. Arrington Performance offers a variety of engine combinations from 5.7L, 6.1L, 6.2L, and its legendary 6.4L that displaces 426ci. The HEMI engines are offered in short-block, long-block, and complete crate engine formats. Mike Copeland and his staff are at every NMCA event on the Manufacturer's Midway offering support to their customers and any racer in competition. They are eager to talk to fans and enthusiasts about their engine program and keep the Dodge//Mopar competitors going fast and having fun, said Rollie Miller, General Manager and National Event Director of the NMCA Muscle Car Nationals. The HEMI market is exciting with huge car counts and awesome performances and it great that Arrington Performance has been with us since we started this program almost two years ago. The NMCA Muscle Car Nationals partnered with Dodge//Mopar prior to the 2019 season to help provide a safe environment for the late-model HEMI enthusiasts. The program offers 75 complimentary entries to the Dodge//Mopar HEMI Shootout for each NMCA event. Enthusiasts are required to pre-register at www.NMCAdigital.com/HEMI and the vehicles must feature a Gen III HEMI in a late-model Dodge, Chrysler, or Jeep vehicle.
