The 9^th Annual NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals is fast approaching and the 2^nd Annual NMRA/NMCA Sealed Stock All-star Showdown featuring Coyote Stock vs Chevrolet Performance will be held during qualifying rounds of the event. Here are the Qualifiers for NMRA and NMCA that have gained an automatic berth into the Showdown. Racers will compete for major bragging rights, $1,000 cash, a Manufacturers Cup trophy, and a trip to the Aerospace Components Winners Circle. The top 3 in points from 2016 and the first event of 2017 combined, along with the one wildcard racer at the event whose name is drawn out of a hat (at drivers meeting before qualifying round #1), will make up each team for the Sealed Stock All-Star Showdown. The remaining NMRA spot and NMCA wild card spots in the All-Star Showdown will be racers at the event that are drawn randomly at the Drivers meeting on Friday morning. First Round Will Be Paired As: NMRA #1 vs. NMCA #4; NMRA #2 vs. NMCA #3; NMRA #3 vs. NMCA #2; NMRA #4 vs. NMCA #1. Lane choice will be decided by a coin flip in the staging lanes with the higher seed in each pair calling it. Winner gets lane choice. Laddered on an NHRA pro ladder from round #1.
