The NMCA’s Mickey Thompson Street Outlaw category returns for three NMCA events in 2020, starting with 12thAnnual Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals at Atlanta Dragway on April 2-5.
At this event, Mickey Thompson Street Outlaw is combined with the NMRA’s VP Madditives Street Outlaw, which gives every fan something to root for when the tires light up and the Christmas tree counts down.
From Atlanta, Mickey Thompson Street Outlaw moves to the newest event on the NMCA Drag Racing Series calendar, the NMCA Power Festival held at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway. At this event, Street Outlaw joins a killer lineup of radial-tire racing that also includes the Radial vs. the World, Limited Drag Radial, and Xtreme Street classes, all of which form the Radial Rampage portion of the event.
These events lead up to the 15th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing presented by Nickey Performance, which boasts the most heads-up classes of any race. The NMCA’s Mickey Thompson Street Outlaw category returns for this famed event and will square off against the NMRA’s VP Racing Madditives Street Outlaw class, as well as take part in the unique NMRA vs. NMCA Super Bowl showdown for the Nitto Diamond Tree rings and extra prize money.
In 2019, both combination events were won by NMCA Mickey Thompson Street Outlaw racers. Can they sweep the NMRA VP Racing Madditives Street Outlaws again in 2020?
