The 12th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing event that is held at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois is the fourth stop on the 2017 tour. As the swing event in the points chase, this means that the racers in each class are looking to position themselves well for a second-half charge to the top of the points standings. Couple that with the fact that the Super Bowl event is always chock-full of drama and record-setting passes and also has the NMRA contingent on the property, and you have one incredible event. This event is one of the most popular on the tour, and the excellent track surface at Route 66 is one of the main reasons why.

NMCA Takes On NMRA in the Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing Over the last several years, the Route 66 surface has been home to many record-setting passes. It's called the Super Bowl of Street legal Drag Racing for a reason, and the racing action reflects that title. Over 30 race classes filled with all kinds of awesome Detroit iron, walkin' and talkin' down the track - this event is an absolute must!
