A great story of the weekend came in ARP's Nostalgia Pro Street class. Jim Jarrett qualified #1 with a strong 7.42 from his gorgeous orange '69 Camaro, but when it came down to the final round it was Barb Nesbitt and Andrew Vogt. When it came time to fire the cars, Barb couldn't get the engine to respond, but in a display of great sportsmanship, Vogt turned his car off and waited over three minutes for Team Midnight to help get Barb's '67 Camaro to fire. Once it did, Vogt and Nesbitt took the tree, with Vogt turning on the rednight and losing the race. This is Nesbitt's first-ever win in the class - a long time coming!
Jamie Stanton nearly took the Vortech Xtreme Street class from wire-to-wire. He qualified #1 with his '02 Camaro with a strong 7.97/175MPH blast, but couldn't seal the deal on elimination day. There, fellow New Yorker Bill Trovato managed to outrun him to the finish line in the final, 8.15 to Stanton's 8.20.

There, he put an 8.47 up to Baskin's 8.53 to take home the cheese.
Tim Hendricks qualified #1 in the BFGoodrich Tires Street Radial class, putting an 8.80 on the board to lead the field. As eliminations progressed, Hendricks and last season's #2, Brad Schehr, ended up squaring off for the final round.
