I tell you it was a hella of a race with me and Barrett White. His new setup is faster than me, engine only and on the bottle, but traction hurt him more than me because of his new 4000 convertor compared to my 3000. I only took him by a nats ass. I just used my old man trickery on the water box on the last run to pull it out. I went around the water completly and just barked off the tires and lined up. I pulled out of the hole better, just enough to take him. Earlyer that morning he ran a 10.02 and I went a 10.03, side by side. It was great racing and we both enjoyed it. But by the end of sunday, my car was smoking pritty bad out the dirvers side. Just in time for the off season. Look out for White next year, he will be the new 10 sec terror.

Way to go guys. Got to love that friendly rivalry and those close races.

These guys are doing battle the way it should be. Can you imagine the 10 second win went by .03.... Gotta LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!
