All most lost the car on friday... the guy in the other lane lost control and went right in front of me within five feet or so at the 1/8 mile hitting the wall , i had to cut across to the other lane all most losing control my-self has his car came back after me. Lucky he was ok , i had to change my shorts...
As far as safety goes , my car only runs 10.00 and people say you don't need the pants, shoes , or gloves and that night i wasn't going to put all that stuff on but i did and now all ways will, you just never know i was lucky for a change

I hear you on the safety stuff. When my car started going fast enough to need a double layer fire suit when I started using nitrous I bought one but when I was just running on the motor the rules said I didn't need one. Well the guys who just bracket race every weekend in jeans and a single layer jacket were laughing at me for wearing the quilted jacket in the summer just running motor. If I have it and can afford it I am going to wear it. I know there are guys who have had some terrible wrecks going slower than we go. If you got it WEAR IT!

Well said Marc, Its hard to put a value on your life or skin.. We sink Thousand into our cars. Safety is a small investment compared
