OK, With all the goings on at Milan this year. From guys getting beat up in the pits for not paying their chassis shop bills. To Rule drama , crews on the line. Hate and discontent abound.. More sniveling going on about that race than there was when ole yeller got put to sleep... Bring back a badly needed Northeast race. Having come from the Boston area myself I guarantee them northeast boys can oblige a pit riot if thats a prerequisite HA HA HA...
Seriously WE NEED A NOR EASTER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, what he said.
There are a TON of tracks around here besides Maple Grove. If you want True Street to stay a "local" race bring it to us so we don't have to go to you.;) Oh yeah.......no pin...er....I mean magneta Malibus.

MIR would be a great place. Not really in the "Northeast", but I think we'd draw a nice big crowd and it's close enough for the NE guys to go to...

I have never been there but it is a couple of hours away and they seem to cater to a lot of street car type of events. Use that pull of yours Jason and get it done.

Jason is right. MIR would be a good track for a race. The track has always hooked good when Ive been there. Its easy access for North and South guys being close to Virginia, DC,Deleware. Its definitely closer than anything on the schedule right now.

I would love to see a race back East.
They were always at Maple Grove (almost East) but I don't know what happened there?
They had a race once at Atco, but it got rained out.
Then the next year it was not on the schedule???
Atco would be my first choice if a big National track like Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ didn't want them? (I don't know why they wouldn't?)
They used to race NMRA at Atco for years. Same organization really.

Although E - TOWN is a big name track with big history, lots of shut down and nice pits ,,the track management there SUCKS.. They treat the racers there like crap.(unless Im sure you are a local regular) Every time I have ever raced there, without exception I have seen them flipper head someone. I should have known all the years I raced there sooner or later I would get caught up in it. I wouldnt darken their gates with my motorcoach or car hauler if they had a race there anyway.. Not to mention, LAST TIME a bunch of us were there they said MUFFLED STREET CARS only when I called them but then wouldnt let me run because my MUFFLED STREET CAR was too loud.. I havnt even looked at their page again after the NASTY EMAIL I sent them but if its MUFFLED STREET CARS under so many decibles SAY THAT !!!!! ITs a long friggin haul from GLEASON TN to Englishtown NJ to have a guysay well thats not OUR idea of a STREET CAR even though you have a full exhaust with mufflers . As anyone who has seen my car knows if it was in there from the factory its in there now GLOVE BOX LIGHT, wipers, cigarette Lighter console, steering wheel .. EXCEPT BACK SEAT which holds the amp, bass tube and rear speakers...With any luck at all the NMCA will pick any other track up there but ETOWN..Thank goodness ATCO wasnt too far away and KEVIN let us air things out all damn DAY with Spetter banging away on the laptop....Besides ATCO is known for being the street car race track of the Northeast East anyway..

Atco just had a great race this weekend and was very well run with minimal down time. I know Jason didn't like it that much but I thought we were treated decently and the track was prepped well. They actually put down rosin between the DR cars and our 8.50 index cars and sprayed and drug it.

Ron, I get along with EVERYONE as most people know ,, so you know for me to be soured up about the place they have a total lack of respect in dealing with people. When you see that attitude towards people time after time, you get to a point where you have absolutely no use for the place. The pits were such a cluster by the time they wouldnt let me run that I had no possible way to get my 40' coach with a 30' hauler behind it out of the place. People literally park sideways, diagonally and any other way they can yoke a car, truck or trailer in there. No problem, Im resolved to the fact that I cant race and Im locked in there for the whole day, but I want my race fee back. So then they said they would only refund my race $$ if I could get my rig out to the gate and leave. Now you tell me thats not a maggot move?? and thats exactly what I told the scumbag in the tower. But with language Scott would get mad at me for and much worse names . Needless to say, I didnt get the rig out, but I got my $$ back...:D
