Frank, Sorry to hear of your troubles. I know that blower has been getting the job done for you race after race with no belt issues. I heard you pullied the F2 up on kill for the superbowl and shredded belts all weekend. The only thing you can do is pill up the juice and slow the blower down as Im sure you have figured out already. I just didnt want you to chase your tail spending $$ only to find later that this is the normal with the F2 on KILL. I think Ferrucci had the right idea building more compression and using the reverse blower so he dont have to spin it max. Good luck with it,

You hit the nail on the head Tom! I went with a smaller pulley and the car does not like to be pedaled!! Every time I blew the tires I stripped a belt. On slicks,no problem, belt lasted about 10 passes before it let go. Its all good though I shall return!!

Peddling reguardless no matter what kinda pully your asking for trouble! Ive never had belt issues. They like to be on the tight side

Greg, I called myself putting it close to the same tension you had on your belt. Im going to buy a new pulley and a few extra belts and try to find the sweet spot before I change to F2R or turbo.

Peddaling and Radials go hand in hand with lots of power. Greg is right , with a BELT you are gonna break one now and again doing it. ROOTS or Centrifugal. Aside from the belt issue at MAX RPM , Jim Sommers himself told me that the F2 will need to be shipped back to them for a rebuild every 25 passes or so. If you can put more compression in the car to make the power wtih the blower that will be fine. BUT Unless you are slowing that blower down, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THe money I spent hauling the car around the country to race , then end up with DNFs because of belt issues I could have paid for this turbo swap once already.
