It was mentioned to me that someone was a bit disgruntled that the RACE RESULTS PAGE was not even kept up for the class and winners didnt get much INK in the Fastest Street car mag. I got plenty for my losing efforts so I couldnt be happier ;) I went through the race results and I noticed that on last years RACE RESULTS page it was kept track of for the first 3 races, then it listed the same 2 guys for the rest of the season. Probably just an oversight JEESH.... I suppose since we are racing for the GLORY alone I could see why someone might be a bit upset that he had his 15 mins of fame robbed. Id be happy just getting one of those TOWERS to show for my efforts. In any event I think it would just be easier to come on here and ASK

WILL THE EVENTS WINNERS PAGE BE MAINTAINED THIS YEAR ?? than it is to bitch about it....:D

Tom,

You bring up a good point and valid concern. I thought the page was updated. But to be honest, it was an oversight that I was unaware of until you pointed it out. I rarely look to see if the stuff is actually updated after I submit it to the other folks here who take care of those specific web-updates. Just so you know the drill here…after a race, I pick winner and runner-up photos for all classes where contingency is paid. These photos are copied and then burnt onto a cd and then mailed to each of the contingency sponsors along with a copy of the contingency claim forms. The same images are then copied onto the webpage via the webmaster. At times I mess up and forget that I need to add True Street winners in that same group of photos. Last year, for half of the season anyway, I had (former) webmaster Kevin constantly remind me that I needed to add the TS photos to the mix. After Kevin left (and we had no webmaster), I lost my personal “kick in the pants” guy. Simple as that.
It is always my intention to give you guys the same amount of editorial “love” as the other classes, but this just fell through the cracks in my brain. I’ll do my best to make sure all of us stay on top of it this year, but will also rely on you guys to give me a nudge if you feel left out.
Oh, and Paul…well you know it just isn’t fair if we ever spelled your name right (lol). Maybe you should begin a “How to spell my name correctly” thread on the board. That way, I can always refer to it. Not just you, but all the rest of the guys who have hard-to-spell names. And yes, I’m serious.

Scott, THanks for the reply, That showed how easy it is to actually ask something and get an answer.. I think sometimes guys feel like the POWERS THAT BE are out of reach and they cant be approached . I think you guys do a great job following our threads and keeping up. Im sure I speak for everyone when I say we sure appreciate that!!!!!

2 points...

2 of my 3 ru's in TS I did not get any pictures or fame of my car on the board.... Scott told me it was because they hated me, but.... FSC has been good to me...

and did you want me to make the how to spell my name correct thread a sticky?

MarC, I see your name every time I read one of your posts yet for some reason the BRAIN still still tells the right middle finger to stab the K as soon as the left index finger jumps up for the R.. I guess its just conditioning. :D
