Way to go Tom. Too bad John was in Hawaii and not at MPG this past year. We got 0 press from them on that one.

For some reason you just say MAPLE GROVE and my stomach turns. The race with the fastest TRUE STREET field of all. The last NORTHEAST race that was on the schedule and its gone.. Not even replaced with another Northeast Race. Did anyone ever hear the actual reason? Im sure it was purely based on $$ by the track or something.

I "heard" it would have been "financial suicide" for the NMCA to schedule around that event within a week or so, since you know the other months were taken by other events for the NMCA. The NHRA nats are now in August at MPG. They close the week before to prepare for that race and the "money that fans would have available to spend to watch racing would have been spent to watch John Force, or Ashley Force, not to watch Adam Esterlund or Dan Millen etc.
