I have some questions about the super truck class. First do you have to have a tailgate? Does it have to be street legal? Will there be anyone at the track that can explain how the index works or is it just like bracket racing.
Thank you for any help.
P.S Is the Bowling Green,Ky race 1/8 mile?

I've never known tailgates to be mandatory equipment. A lot of guys take them off for eliminations to help lose some weight. No it doesn't have to be street legal. It's similar to bracket racing in that you run off a 'dial-in'. The difference is that you make at least one and up to three 'qualifying' passes before eliminations. You take your fastest pass, deduct .10 second and that is your dial-in for eliminations...it is not changeable throughout eliminations. .500 pro tree in effect. Bowling Green is 1/4 mile.
Hope this helps.
