The 5th Annual Ross Pistons NMCA Hot Rod and Muscle Car Nationals has been completed – sort of. After fighting on-and-off rain showers all day Sunday, trying to complete the race, NMCA officials threw the towel in with only four finals to be completed. These finals will be contested during qualifying at the next event in Atlanta.

Finals yet to be contested include Denso Pro Street, where Vinny Budano and Troy Coughlin will face each other, Nitto Tire Super Street racer Brian Penna will race Dan Millen. Other titles to be determined include GM Performance Parts NPS, where racers Brian Ferrari and John Baio will square off. In Vortech Xtreme Street, Andy Mayes will try and get his first-ever event win when he races NMRA regular, Frank Provenza.
All other classes were run to completion. Winners included John Langer, who won his fourth race of the year in TCI Pro-X Pro Stock over Bruce Maichle, who was running the class for the first time. The win, according to Langer, sealed this years class title.
