Maple Grove True Street tech in

If, and this is a BIG if, my mechanic gets my effin tranny put back in the car in time, can I tech in for the True Street race Saturday morning? Last year I did it on Friday night but I doubt if I can get the car there on Friday night.

Also, last year I couldn't run my skinnies (which are D.O.T. legal). Has that rule been changed/modified to allow D.O.T. slicks AND skinnies? Thanks.

I am sure you can tech in on Saturday. I don't know anything about the skinnies being too small. As long as they are DOT legal I wouldn't see why you couldn't run them. I didn't see a size allowance mentioned for them in the rules. :confused:

Laura, hope this answer isn't coming too late, but I got a hold of Ron Ward for you and he said your skinnies MUST have a D.O.T. stamp on them. He said your Moroso skinnies last year did not, which is why you couldn't run them. Hope your "down to the wire" thrashing pays off and I see you Saturday. :-) Nance

Yes, you may tech in on Saturday morning. I'm here at the track and that answer comes from the top....

I don't have Moroso, I have Hoosiers. I doubt if I can make it anyway, but thanks for the info. It will be a help for next year.
