It would be good to see Andy Legg and the Chevelle in some final rounds, He and his crew seem like good people. Scott

I'm out. Not like I was ever really a serious threat before, but I just cant afford it anymore. I had the car tuned to be a contender at the Memphis race at the end of last year, but a flat camshaft in the first round of qualifying and serious traction trouble in the first round of elims made my mind up. I am going to put my 421 in and better tires and run some EZ street stuff locally. I may put the C/S engine back in and show up at Memphis, but won't get my hopes up again. Good luck to all of the new guys in the class and the "old" ones too.

Hey guys,
I,m out. I sold my complete top end to someone who should be in Bradenton running Mean Street. I had a great time running this class and made some new friends. I recommend this class to anyone wanting to race a power adder class semi-affordably. Just wish they never had a claimer to begin with. I would have saved alot of money in the long run by not trying to use cheap bottom end pieces. Oh well, you live and learn.
Mike,
We might see each other again this year. I'm putting together a 410" EZ Street motor right now. It will be much cheaper running relatively local stuff. I sure as heck can't afford a competitive Extreme Street motor. If I return to PRO, it will be behind the wheel of a Pro Stock or Extreme Street ride. That's not happeming anytime soon! LOL!
Good Luck to all this year,
Brandon

With a glide in the car it was not bad at all. When we put a 3 speed in the car it got really tricky. I still recommend a three speed especially with a Chrysler. I have considered putting a Pro-flight in my car.

Brandon, I am going to try to run some stuff at Jackson TN this summer if they ever get a schedule out so I can schedule my vacation. I may see you there and get to run you again (just don't break my windshield this time:p ).
Andy, you are dead on about traction being tricky with a 3 speed. I even put 3.55 gears in to try and kill some low end but that messed up my RPM at the end.
Have fun guys.
Mike
