Has anyone though about putting on a weight adder (150 lbs?) and letting some classes run wheelie bars? I know I really don't want to mess my car up and would rather carry some extra weight... Even if there is a height restriction..... Something would be better than nothing...

Although I totally agree this post could get you a modern day crucifiction. Wheelie bars are for us no tuning idiots, at least thats what's been said on the other post on this subject.

Yeah I know I have it coming to me now...... That's why I asked for a weight adder, until I figure out how to "tune" my car..... Torque Arms are not extremely user friendly....

It is NOT going to happen.

When I have talked with most racers what they do is run the wheelie bars in testing until you get the tune right. Another words just set them up and keep raising them until the car is set and you know how to adjust the bars for different track conditions...

Just a suggestion...

Seems to be a dead issue anyway..... they must enjoy track clean up.....

If the flat-out non consideration for someones reasonable suggestion is indicative of the tech staffs mentality I am sure it will serve you well.

Here is some proof from this last weeks race by the most successful drag racing organization there is that wheelie bars do not result in boring racing

What is boring is a single car going down the track because the guy in the other lane did a header smashing, oil pan and windshield busting wheel stand. Excitement is a side-by-side pair of cars carrying the wheels about 2-feet in the air out about 60 feet in a good race.

Thanks guys for your support.... I am not trying to cause a pissing match that is for sure..... Like I have stated I don't want to mess my car (or myself) up...... Also I know fans hate track down time..... I also know I hate running in the same lane that someone has just oiled down....

But the point is moot..... If I don't like it there are other places to race
