BESIDES NORMAL TIMING RETARD FOR NITROUS,HOW MUCH CAN YOU PULL OUT DURING THE LAUNCH TO HELP SOFTEN THE HIT WITHOUT CAUSING A BACKFIRE,THEN RAMPING IT BACK IN. THANKS

Are you using a crank trigger? What's your base timing set at? You'll need to pay close attention to your rotor phasing if your using a crank trigger.

I have pulled the timing down to as low as 0 deg. and ramping it back up to 18 deg. at 2.5 sec. at the launch with the MSD 7531 box. This was with a crank trigger being used and the rotor phased to be dead on at 18 deg.(full timing.) Hope this helps.......Andy Legg
