X/S Inner Fenders

Are inner fenders required for X/S? I dont see that in the rules anymore.
If so, can they be fabricated aluminum, or do they have to be OEM style?

The rule is still in place. 7.11 FENDERSPLASH PANS: Full Factory OEM or aftermarket inner fenders required. May be trimmed for header clearance.

So, you can use the OEM inner fender, or fab up something. Just make it nice, keep the trimming to a minimun, cause it just might be in Fastest Street Car mag....

Trimmed for header clearance does not mean removal either. A racer once told me, "We kept trimming, and before we knew it the inner fender was gone":rolleyes:
