View Full Version : NMC year of car vs. year of engine

A friend of mine has a 1964 Ford Galaxie and wants to run NMC. It came out with a 390, but he now has a 460 in it. Does this different engine design void him from running? The rules say : OEM engine or OEM stock appearing engine must be declared and available for particular year, make, and model.

The 460 and 390 are different motors and the car would not be able to compete in NMC. He can place the car in O/C or brackets.
