NMCA Drag Radial??

:) I think it would be a great idea to have a Drag Radial Class as it would bring in a lot more spectators. I watched them at the finals in Memphis and it was a fun class to watch.

Like we were speaking at PRI, I think that the PRO/NMCA Series would have a successful addition with a Drag Radial class. Of course, the payout would probably not be as rich in a series format, but it should rival that of S/S or X/S. The OD/R cars in Memphis were set on kill, and were incredibly diverse in make and engine combos - Hot Rod Magazine's article on them was a tremendous shot in the arm for Drag Radial racing in general. Will a D/R class attract a large car count each race? I'd say yes. It would just have to be stable in its rules, and offer a generous purse and contingency befitting the level of performance that it offers the fans, sponsors and organization. If you haven't already Jake, you should post this as a poll in the main lounge. Just as Matt indicated, there are a few current D/R guys who would run the series if a class materializes. ;) Thanks for listening Jake.

Great idea, we are working on a Procharged sbc for DR and think it will be one of the most exciting classes to watch for the fans....

I'd be all for a DR class with pro. A full time deal would be pretty good. Keep it outlaw all the way!
