Congrats to Philip Glidewell who (unprompted I might add) sent me some info on his new car. Now... if only the rest of you (who haven't yet) could do the same. If you've got something going on, email me a paragraph or two about what you're doing and if possible, a high-rez photo and I'll get it in the next issue of FSC.

Thanks

Hey Scott,

I though I'd reply to your request for rumors and goingson things.
I have joined the Pro series, Open comp class and I am going crazy in the snow:mad:
I have included some pics of the heavy weight and I am looking forward to the class racing this year.
Just your average street racer type car, BBC with a glide, 5500 stall convertor, 4:10 gears raceing 12 bolt rear axle, 10 point cage and a rear adj. sway bar for those goofy gm launches:(

29x 11.0 in the rears and 28x 4.5 in the fronts with Weld @ all 4 corners. Hoosiers are the choice of rubber and are screwed on the rrear wheels.

4in. Harwood cowl hood covers the empty engine bay(which needs a 632incher) along with a Griffin rad, 14x4 air cleaner and all the necessary gages are in the cowl of the hood, except the tach.

Lighter front end, with drag springs and shocks, tubular A-arms and bigger brakes, soon to have Wilwood disc brakes in the rear. QA1's finish off the rear suspension with the fuel cell and battery in the bed.

Thanks for the oppritunity Scott to put my clunker in the mag, it would be an honor and also, mean a lot to myself, my friends and my family.
Enjoy the pics and let me know if it is worthy enough:)

Got the new crankshaft in today...Thanks to Eagle for the help with the crank/rod combo!!!
We've got a new carb to play with also...Thanks go out to Quick Fuel Technology for that item!!
Midnight Machining will begin the engine process this weekend...
Car should be a tick quicker this season but the changes are more for realiabilty and durability...the stock rods and crank at 7000 was abit nerve racking for my more conservative style :D

See ya all soon...............

G-Block.
