Mike,

The only heads allowed from Indy are the 440-1, 440-C and 440 SR.

Why have you not looked at this part number 572-13 for the BBcry
just looking at buying new heads and have a low deck big bore the 572-13 head CC-chamber will center over the bore better. the 444-1 head is also a 13 degree head they are the same casting just the 572-13 bolt pattern is moved .090 to re center the bore every thing from the 440-1 440-SR will work on the 572-13 rockers, intake. Let me know ASAP so i can get this motor together hurt a head real bad last year a PSCA race. Looking to run at least four of the Pro events. In 2004

Mike,

The 572-13 Indy head is not allowed because the exhaust valve has been moved from stock location. This issue is covered in 1.17a in the rule book. Also, under 1.17c the locaton of the intake runners "Standard bolt pattern is defined as OEM bolt location and number of bolts."

BBCHRY Mike, you just have the wrong make of engine. Also u can't run a hemi head. Totally OEM!

Go BBC (canted valve, just a varied copy of hemi head) and u can run. Also u will have a head that out flows the Chrysler head u can run by 70cfm. Wonder what's going on?
