This is crazy. Once again all weights are changed and not 1 car has run yet this year. At the end of last year a small block Ford, big block Chevy and a small block Chevy had all run with .02 of each other. But they were all late model cars. I outran almost everyone on the first half of the track then got whipped on the top end. I was within .10 of the top runner but always around 5 mph slower. I think only thing that should of been changed was a 100lb weight break for early cars or keep all weights the same and let early models run an airdam that hangs as low as the new cars and block off the grill. But I don't make the rules. You have left NMRA alone for 4 years now and its one of the top classes in all of heads up drag racing. You keep changing things you are going to loose all the racers and no one will run. Look at FFW and NSCA car counts cause they have changed rules all the time. You guys have done great in the past with NMRA. Don't make mistakes by changing everything that racers are complaining about, just look at the on track results and make changes from them like you do in NMRA. I have got a new car coming out because you guys didnt look at the results but instead of complaining I am gonna run it and still support the NMRA and
PRO and I still got the 66 if the rules are fixed from a result stand point. Good luck to everyone getting stuff fixed and finished see everyone in Bradenton.

Let me get this right, as per the new rules...
477 CID pontiac in a '69 trans am
3350 base weight + 100 lbs (dominator) - 150 lbs (pontiac) - 50 lbs nostalgia = 3225 lbs

The motor should be on the dyno in a few weeks. We are crossing our fingers. I am hoping for a 90 hp increase over last year. What motor are you going to be running next year. I see that you are having a fire sale on all of your SBC stuff.
