After I got my stickers checked at Memphis, I was told to go ahead and load up and leave if I wanted to. I did not know that I had to sign the form and the tech official had to sign after we were finished. Ron (tech) was trying as hard as he could, and we all know what kind of weekend it was, but he was unsure of what to do with the form since he had never done it before and this was my first time to get contingency. I was told when I got to the trailer by another racer that I needed to go back and get it signed again before I left. We loaded up and was going to go down there and sign before we left, but the sky opened up again while we were loading up. When we got down there he was gone, so we left, too. I am finally going to get paid to race and I sure don't want to lose it because of a clerical error.
