We’ve had a pretty good relationship with you and Eddie for a few years now. I respect you and your program greatly. Which I recall you where right in there with the rest of the pack at BG even with the weight.

I also understand your campaign to get weight taken off of your combination, but do you honestly think that a two piece converter alone could make it possible to do here what the Dude has done at this race and others by itself?

How do you think we feel about the numbers Dude ran in BG & now in Memphis? We ran him in eliminations round one at BG. I have the ticket, nothing like ours!
Although I did make a poor decision on the chassis that round which caused us to spin greatly at the line, we treed the hell out of him and still lost by almost three tenths!!!

Al l I’m saying is, the two piece allows you to make adjustments yourself without having to send it back to the converter guy. There is no magic in this, Bob. It just saves you money, time, and frustration overall.

The major frustration comes from elsewhere!!!!!!! Can’t figure out where though?

With the air as good as it is, im not shocked at all. I know Charlie isnt cheating. Always been a stand-up guy! Hell, even Judson Massingill broke the LSX All-Motor record with his new combo and at 3500 LBSs! 8.60s@ that weight is incredible.

Most of the Pro Stock and Hot Street racers are running the aluminum converter and they aren't running that fast;)


We just got back from Memphis and without a doubt the freakish air played havoc with just about everyone. The Xtreme Street N2O cars put on a pyrotechnics show we will not soon forget, Pro Stock on the other hand was awesome to watch.
Booze, what can you say, I kinda of expected a great number but it still had that wow factor to see that .30 pop up. I was actually more surprised that some of the other cars didn't go faster, although Skip Baskin went 5.35 to the 1/8 but only went a 8.44 and Greg Delaney went a blistering 8.48 in that 3525lb Bird, that was very impressive also, plus Delaney avoided any damage with a excellent job peddling the car in the first round of qualifying this morning, kudos to him.

Jamie Stantons car looks better in person than in pictures. Jake and Jamie built a beautiful car that performs like it looks, and to think these guys are brand new to the world of nitrous and what they've accomplished in just 4 races in one of the toughest classes in heads up racing is a true testament to there ability not only to build a car but make it perform. Congrats guys
