GMPP bowtie block? What exactly is a bowtie block?
Is a stock block a bowtie block like the LS1?
or is a replacement LS2 block a bowtie block?
Or is a bowtie block something else and don't say a well dressed neighborhood.

It's a (special) replacement block through GM Performance parts.
There are usually several versions for each application (for example, for my big block stuff, there's: tall deck, short deck, CNC main caps, etc).
Oh - and they do have a little bow tie emblem on them, too...

But according to what Keith just described, it is not eligible?

No - it's eligible (ie, it's on the contingency list, and legal for the class [NMC, in this case]...).
At least I'm planning on getting paid by them...:D
