Asking for a friend. Since it is the last race of the season, would the annual fee be waived at Memphis?

Edgar,

You do not need a membership for any of the LSX classes, True Street or Brackets. If your friend plans to race any other the other NMCA classes then he will be required to purchase a 1-year NMCA membership and will need to get a permanent number (free for 1 year, $10 for 5 years).
