Jim I went last night, there were some pretty wicked cars there. I don't think some of them fit NMCA rules but they were nice. Doug was kicking ass.
I got down to 8 cars, got beat by .002. bummer.

Yea I do quite a bit. They're having king of the track Saturday, running for a Walley. Pretty tough competition in Bracket II. Be ready to go about 7 rounds.

I was there a couple weeks back Jim... looks like a regular bracket program. My sister lives on Needmore Rd. about 1 mile from the track and we were at her place for the 4th and could hear cars in the back round.. and she was like, oh yeah, there is some kind of track up the street..lol Needless to say, she just closed on a house on 31 in Waco today and is moving....lol

well jim we went friday night and one thing has changed there are not as many cars as it use to be. they ran a footbrake class ( no 2 step allowed) and a streetclass and a street trophy that was it. no super pro cars or any electronics almost like the old days. footbrake pays 500.00 on regular night and i think they run for a 1000.00 once a month. i asked around why no super pro, the word is the money got funny but, i dont know for sure. anybody know anything? the place is clean and nice. we are going back friday 15th. defenitely a place to practice footbrake racing and maybe get some change back:o

They race on Fridays, that leaves me out. I'm debating on going to Windy Hollow Saturday or to Clay City to do some 1/4 mile.

Clay City is outside of Lexington. www.mpdragway.com They actually have a 1/4 mile footbrake class that pays money. I went out there the weekend before Joliet, I had a good time. Made it to the finals. I wish Beech Bend would have that one a regular program.

i talked to clay jones a few weeks back when we were testing. he wanted to know why i was at the bend testing instead of at the hollow and i told him i need some 1/4 mile testing for future nmca racing and he said he liked what the nmca is doing.maybe we can get something started at the bend...... but i doubt it;)
